@chjara Have you missed the part where a massive amount of "ex"-FBI agents were facilitating this by working at Twitter, Twitter basically bending their own rules to justify whatever the fuck they want in these situations, the FBI giving Twitter a few millions, the FBI actually giving the platforms what they should be censoring and IIRC Fauci, gov and co actually colluding to censor some information they didn't like and a competitor's product
The FBI knew about it and colluded with MSM and social media to censor all infos about it before the election. For all the "muh election" interference BS, this is actually the biggest election interference they could possibly do. And then they did it recently with the Trump document bullshit, which oops, they let out that Biden was also doing it right after the voting period
The laptop truly shows how fucking degenerate Hunter Biden is, smoking crack (Which Biden as a senator has instituted tolerance policy with massive sentencing, BTW), hiring prostitutes and possibly even fucking his niece IIRC
But more importantly, it has strong allegations of crimes, which, IIRC, the Ukraine power plant BS was it that Hunter is inexplicably part of has communication of a share "for the big guy"
@coolboymew if by censor information you mean the hunter biden mess which is, really overblown to begin with and was never censored by twitter (in fact they acted against a white house request to remove posts about it), or COVID-19 misinformation which is against their rules
@chjara no, the reality is that he's probably airing the dirty laundry because it came back around to fuck him. Huge chances that in the Twitter agreement he possibly made while attempting to purchase it, he saw all the liabilities he would end up being responsible of, so airing all the dirty laundry is the best thing he could possibly do
@coolboymew like the twitter files aren't anything actual, they're just a way for musk to redirect public discourse away from his apartheid emerald-fueled idiocy
@coolboymew@shitposter.club@chjara@snowdin.town Just about everyone knew twitter was being used as a propaganda and narrative control for the government and ppl with a big enough wallet but I guess this is for the .8% who doubted.
@coolboymew and, notice how much of the discourse around it (including your reply), isn't about the purpoted political consequences of his actions, but just about his perceived moral degeneracy
@coolboymew@chjara He doesn't consider it a big deal because it involves censorship and suppression of people he doesn't like, it's a classic leftist bad faith argument. Just look at how quickly leftists went from "Twitter doesn't shadowban, you're just being paranoid" to "Of course Twitter shadowbans, everybody already knew this, talk about a nothingburger, lol."
@chjara@coolboymew Biden is so boring that the Republicans have to basically say that his son is shit to make him look bad.
Also, the entire story in-so-far as it was relevant to "the Twitter Files" had very little to do with the laptop but more because people were uploading Hunter Bidens dick pics. The NYP story is old hat.
Now I don't know about you, but I do feel safer on a platform that a. Doesn't allow sharing non-consensual nudes and b. Doesn't result in me looking at Hunter Bidens cock.
@coolboymew >the FBI is outright protecting corruption and stifling free speech to help a literal bunch of criminals yeah, what's new? but the twitter files is at best flimsy & superficial evidence of it, all the posts deleted were actually in contravention of twitter's rules, selectively enforced or not it's really not an indictment of twitter itself
@coolboymew@glitch@chjara The funny part is that if if you're still an election fraud Denier, it becomes extremely hard to argue that the coordinated Big Tech Censorship and news suppression didn't decide the election, given just how close the results were in multiple key states. Not only was it blatant election interference, it was election interference that did an enormous amount of damage if you believe the official Narrative about the election results.
@chjara besides, I have no idea why the fuck is the government monitoring what is supposed to be a private entity. "They were just reporting stuff already against twitter rules!" is an immensely weird cope. Why in the fuck is the FBI doing Twitter's job? What the fuck? Are this raises absolutely no alarms in your head whatsoever that your tax money is going towards this?
The FBI should only be involved when a federal crime is going on
@coolboymew from what i understand, this says that twitter had lax rules on misinformation, which they didn't want to change which is, again, not incriminating twitter in any way
@coolboymew i couldn't give less of a fuck about twitter's existence or its internal politics (except that now with musk at the helm they're crashing it down in an occasionally funny way) all i'm saying is that the twitter files is flimsy at best, and should not be given any attention
@chjara@coolboymew See the thing is Hunter is a pawn to funnel money TO joe. Hunter is basically just a patsy for actual backroom dealings probably going on. Therein lies the issue, and the FBI knows people would have made that connection, so they suppressed the story. Also below this you deflect and say he didn't bring up the political implications, but he clearly said in the post you replied to
>But more importantly, it has strong allegations of crimes, which, IIRC, the Ukraine power plant BS was it that Hunter is inexplicably part of has communication of a share "for the big guy"
Which is the issue I'm again bringing up. This is like if trump's kids were funneling money from Russia and China to Big T himself, but giggling while doing it. "Tee hee no this is just regular business deals". It's obviously suspect as hell, and should call into question motives of both the FBI and the Biden's. And anyone connected trying their damnedest to suppress it.
I definitely find it suspicious big tech, (almost all of) the mainstream media, and the FBI all put forth so much effort to try and discredit a news story that would obviously have changed the outcome of an election. That ended up being true. Then was minimized down to a dick pic, which is funny considering I've still never even seen said dick pic. Not saying it doesn't exist but that's obviously not the crux of the issue.
Now the other question I have is how the laptop was received in the first place. I don't know if I buy the whole "took it to a computer repair shop" that's just too convenient. And retarded. I did hear the laptop repair shop owner is getting sued, and honestly, he's probably going to lose if he really did leak the customer data. But it does give some validation to the whole story so it gives it even more believably in my eyes.
@thegreatape@coolboymew@chjara hunter2 (that is what I'm calling him, or *******) abandoned the laptop by never picking it up, I believe that part isn't even disputed. It turns out crackheads are unreliable regarding property. Because the USA doesn't have serious privacy laws there's probably no criminal violation.
there is no doubt if this were trump then the tv would be screaming about it 24/7 to this day and the full contents would be available, that doesn't mean it's true but people who ignore this are at best admitting that most of the noise about trump was also not true and this would be too but it's not trump so who cares. at worst it's true, and they don't care not just because they want to stop trump at any cost, but because it's their guy. you have people like sam harris that just admit that biden could be a murdering rapist and he'd still be a preferable president to trump. as for everybody else i guess they don't question why a foreign business with strong ties to a foreign government hired a crackhead that happened to be a vice president's son, to basically do nothing and his mail says he's giving a cut of it to somebody else for some reason? why would you even do that unless it was quid pro quo? come on.
the problem is this dumbass computer store guy didn't just quietly take the laptop, image it, and dump it on bittorrent and then alert everyone.
@Moon@thegreatape@chjara I was trying to go without attempting to breach any sort of partisan lines, but yes, this is totally true and it pisses me off
@Moon@coolboymew@chjara@thegreatape he had it in the contract so if it wasn't paid for it became the stores property. It's legal salvage :blobcatthumbsup:
@chjara@coolboymew "the president's son is a crack addicted pedophile with very strong ties to a nation we're trying to start WWIII over for no real reason, and has been funneling money from said nation to his dad. the FBI, mainstream media, and government did everything in their power to cover this up in very blatant election interference. But it's all being overblown."
@coolboymew@chjara@thegreatape this would all be incredibly suspicious no matter who the president was. it's just extra annoying because we all know the specific people involved would have dramatically different outcome if switched.
