   Can people just do fediverse software right for once or is it a monumental feat when you've got software that works and works well in any sensible environment?

     Ever so slightly tongue in cheek because I'm very aware of the tears that have been shed trying to set up stuff like Pleroma which takes 15 minutes to set up under basically normal circumstances, yet somehow people discover/create new issues and cry.

     @nyanide The problem is that AP is a complete non-specification and the real spec is to do what Mastodon does as a base and build from that.

     I'm assuming there is no testing being done because of a full conscious or subconscious "the instance owners will do it for us" mindset

     @nyanide I'm honestly baffled by the issue that greg has on the BE issue tracker. I suspect that the tuned pgsql settings don't apply to the container DB in some way, but I'm too lazy to actually help him :comfyxdsweat:

     @nyanide Because from my experience operating Pleroma in the absolutely franned conditions while it barely holds up, I've never experienced any of his issues. Or to be more specific, I didn't experience them after they were fixed.
