   how did so many people make it to the end of 2022 without learning that flying low = hard to see
   
   once again I'm discovering that something I thought was both common sense and common knowledge is actually an esoteric bit of military trivia
   
   while I'm at it I'll point out that the absence of an attack does not indicate the absence of *capability* to attack. there are many, many cards that have gone unplayed for decades that will be more shocking than this when they're pulled out in the coming years

     @Argyrus IDK but it's a common feature of military fiction/science fiction and has been forever, which I guess is why I assumed people understood it

     Except instead of an expensive aircraft, they got a tiny, disposable one.... crazy how that works, I guess.l
