@grumpy_website Tell that to Apple, this comes directly from their convention since way back when and still exists today. Worse, it spreads, I think a lot of apps in the GNOME design conventions also use this.
(not excusing, its a silly convention.)
@Tutanota also does this, but only on floating modals such as the 2FA on login, which is even more confusing.
