   145 followers sounds like a lot but half of them are from instances which no longer exist, and a quarter of them are people's alts.
   I think in reality I have like 10-20 real followers on fedi.

     @RedTechEngineer I remember I had 700ish followers on my FSE account, I had on average 10 repeats and 20 likes. Never got beyond 30 and don't even ask about replies.

     @dcc @RedTechEngineer I don't get it. Everywhere else is so much worse. Twitter has a gorillion issues, bluesky is for mega faggots, etc. Even the non-silicon valley alternatives are bad, like Nostr which I tried but just can't replace Fedi because it has many more features and the quality of the average poster is higher.
