     its painful how often i see skilled, passionate devs unable to produce a proper product simply because it gets gutted by hire-ups that have no awareness of the world around them outside of biased spreadsheets drawn up by the yesmen they surround themselves with
     
     
     insert game that had years worth of content ready for day 1, but was dripfed over the course of many years instead for max profitability
     insert games execs gloating about the high points in the games history, even though said high points only occurred when the games content was outsourced, under heavy scrutiny by third parties, or created from the work of devs that arent even at the company anymore
