@sendpaws Husky should work better than others. What's the issue with pic upload, does it affect Pleroma too?

@sendpaws @silverpill does it work on mitra web? I've noticed that a lot of fedi software can't serve some files if they have some characters like dashes. I have to edit some anime screenshots from mpv to work around that here on tsundere.love, which runs pleromer -

I tried to upload an image with husky and it worked. Is there anything unusual about your image?
I think the best way forward would be reporting this problem to Husky dev: https://github.com/captainepoch/husky

@silverpill @mischievoustomato yeah fedilab has been weird
Idk why husky is being dodgy with uploads here it's only with pixel cam imagesIn conversation permalink -

@silverpill @mischievoustomato are there any logs I can see about the error uploading the image?

I think this is because husky and mitra-web use different payload formats, multipart data and JSON. Effective payload size might be different depending on the format.
Default upload limit is 20 MB. Max payload size is twice the upload limit, 40 MB by default.
If the size of your image is not anywhere near those limits, there must be a bug somewhere.In conversation permalink -

@silverpill @mischievoustomato "2025-02-08T11:58:56 mitra::http [INFO] POST /api/v1/media : Payload reached size limit."
That's odd, because web UI lets it upload fine but it throws this error when I use husky even though it's below my size limit.
