@fsf JShelter deals with threats after they have been loaded (and potentially some damage already done). I would call this a blacklisting tool. Most web threats/annoyances can be bypassed entirely with whitelisting toolsets. No class of web page assets, except maybe images, should ever be loaded by the browser without the explicit permission of the browser’s operator.
