A year ago my company made the worst change to its attendance policy ever and when I saw it I thought "man, I'll never survive that". Well, this past week I've been terribly sick and we get no sick days. I've officially been let go.

Will I fight for the job back? Probably not. Literally every other job pays more. I'll miss the people I was working with, though.
