   After spending a large chunk of the last 8 years or so using Mastodon almost every day, I finally got to meet @Gargron in person. He was so incredibly kind to talk to me for as long as he did, the event was overwhelming and there were "very important people" everywhere but he took the time to speak to me as a fellow human in a way that was very moving to me. The amount of work he has put into making the fediverse what it is today is not to be understated.

     @liaizon You don’t even know how happy I was to talk to someone outside, where I can actually hear what they’re saying. Also to meet one of the early adopters ☺️
