Has anyone torn down a Cisco Spark videoconferencing screen? There are some huge 4K and multitouch screens out there for pretty cheap these days, but they’re all softwired into Webex services and those things are all kinda junk. I’m tempted, but I would like to know if I can pop a hard drive out and do the work there of if I will need to solder anything.

@michaelcoyote @mhoye I've not torn one down yet, but I'll keep an eye out at the recycler

@mdione @michaelcoyote @mhoye yeah. My roommate has an agreement with them where she can come in once a week and look through the stuff they've got in, so it can be sold to people who'll use it instead of crushed or shredded

@foone @michaelcoyote @mhoye so... you head out to the recycler to fish for still usable electronics? What kind of recycler is that? I'm asking to see if I can find anything similar around here...
