   Wait. I meant compilers, but what really is stopping me from using WASM+DOSBox to run a compiler in a JS box, but I just add some extra Magic to let you download files off it?

     @leo I once wrote a CGI framework where you could write simple CGI scripts in Microsoft QBasic. That was an early form is this idea, I guess.

     @foone if I'm understanding correctly... that's actually 100% the cursed thing that I'm up to right now except it is Borland C++ 2.0 https://gitlab.com/rawrs/borland-c-2 ... I could probably throw it up on a webpage real quick and tie it with some browser file system APIs
