   listening to some music on tangara hooked up directly to active speakers this morning (abacus). there's zero audible noise, even while charging, nice. i held the sd card wrong when dumping my music on it i think, so far i can select only single tracks using the file browser (it didn't auto populate a db with artist/album/track). probably i should read the manual first!

     @deshipu i guess you mean the "update now" button. that did some operation for a second but the result is still the same... do my files have to be on sd card in a special way/folder?

     @mntmn AFAIK no. If there is a "Music" directory, only that will be scanned, otherwise the entire filesystem will be scanned.

     @deshipu @mntmn maybe update your firmware if u havent already! we had some unfortunate bugs with music indexing in 1.0.0, but it's much improved in newer versions

     btw the device looks very cute and feels solid and put together and packaged with care. it's obvious to me that a lot of work went into its OS and UI. the volume buttons feel a bit loose, but the power slider is solid. bluetooth and jack output work well. the sound quality is super clean. looking forward to see the real database browsing UX after firmware update.
