@mia@movsw.0x0.st @Mondobizarrro@social.xenofem.me @rat@brain.worm.pink discord uses more cpu while you're using it since it does a lot more but idle mumble is way worse

@meso @rat @anemone @mia @Mondobizarrro yeah was gonna say mumble has weird issues on mac os, was trying to get mumble working on a friends mac some time ago and there was an issue where after a while friend would randomly have audio output cut off, aka he couldnt hear anybody
got so bad we just got him on his spare windows machine and hed mumble from there, or we'd just go on discord to see if the issues we had there were fixed [discord also seems to have problems on mac] -

@meso@netzsphaere.xyz @Mondobizarrro@social.xenofem.me @rat@brain.worm.pink @mia@movsw.0x0.st ive never seen mumble not lag or glitch and cpu matters more than ram usage for power consumption, etc.

@anemone @Mondobizarrro @rat @mia mumble feels a lot lighter anyways cpu usage doesnt matter. it's a lot more responsive and never seen it lag or glitch. also, its main issue is ballooning RAM To gigabytes randomly idk why
