     @skylar @nyanide this is called BLUF writing: Bottom Line Up Front. You put the sauce into the first line of the message, whether its a question or feedback or whatever. Then you can elaborate with more details later on. I try my best to do this to help people along, but jeez.

     @prettygood @nyanide for decades, the school system has brainwashed innocent children into thinking more text == gooder writing, they take this misconception with them to work, and then you've got some blowhard shitting out massive walls of text.
     if you can't get your point across in a sentence or two that someone can skim on their phone while doing something else, you're just a bad writer.
