     @nixCraft It really feels like Freedom. I never understood what Richard Stallman was talking about until I actually used Linux and other Open Source software.

     It's just a vibe, it's like 'Once you go black, you never go back.' I don't use Linux these days (because I can't use it professionally), but it's like I'm in that Open Source ecosystem, talking with the people there etc. I'll switch immediately as I am able to.

     @nixCraft It's not run my a billion dollar company who's only interest is to squeeze more money out of their users and in return ruin the user experience and also make old hardware obsolete so ppl buy new "supported" hardware. That's literally the only reason I don't run Windows as it's ruined by Microsoft and also no Macs because I don't want to get vendor locked.

     @nixCraft the fact that I don't have annoying pop-ups asking me to log into a Microsoft account and having ads and AI shoved down my throat every other day.

     I can literally just turn it on and use my PC as is. My computer is MY computer.
