@arstechnica Of course, does AI surpass humans in some areas ... that's the reasons why since the dawn of mankind we create tools! And AI is not "intelligent" in the sense humans and other animals are. It's is just bionics in the digital world: replicating something biological by technical means. So computers are now able to infer, anticipate, estimate, and guess. But that's only a tiny fraction of real intelligence, and it will remain so for a long time. @arstechnica as long as we see examples of Google's Gemini "AI" answering a guy trying to repair a car that he has to use a fitting nut to loosen some bolts (obvious, as a toilett brush wouldn't have done it), I don't fear AI.
