   I keep brainstorming a fantasy novel in my head I wanna write one day, and keep thinking "how would a person from a fantasy world react to modern stuff?" and found the greatest example: the Bass Pro Pyramid
   
   How the hell do you even explain this to someone like that? He would think "surely this is the home of a great king" then walks in to see what looks like a fucking swamp and full town. Then having to explain "yea all of this is a big store" like HUH

     @BigDawg869789 Tbh it's even hard to explain in general to a normal person. "Yeah so they made a pyramid because 'Memphis' is also a city in Egypt and they had a football team called "The Memphis Pharoahs" so this was their sports arena (don't bother looking them up they don't exist anymore) and it was also used for a bunch of concerts and stuff before it was eventually closed down and then bought up by a fishing retailer."
