   In case you've seen #Nostr accounts – the decentralised social protocol where coiners recently moved over to – being bridged into ActivityPub fedi:
   One popular bridge mostr.pub is – who could have guessed – developed by Alex Gleason, part-time egdelord, main dev of soapbox, fired from Pleroma, co-founder of spinster and enjoyer of supposed swastika “shitposting”.

   If you decide to use that software, just be aware whom you might need to interact with for bugreports.

     @MercurialBlack @schmittlauch I also like how he tried to undermine my work by saying “one popular bridge” instead of the first and ONLY bridge.

     @alex @MercurialBlack @schmittlauch That said, what happens if someone starts hosting a second bridge? Do the messages on fedi's side start getting duplicated from both domains?

     @schmittlauch Remember: if you want to use this highly influential piece of software that allows you to talk to Jack Dorsey, it was developed by someone I don’t like and he might be extremely nice to you if you open an issue or pull request.

     @mint @MercurialBlack @schmittlauch Great question. The answer is yes, and there’s nothing we can do to prevent that entirely. However I’ve done every possible thing short of having the bridges sync their databases to minimize the problems that could arise from it. Eg: https://gitlab.com/soapbox-pub/mostr/-/merge_requests/36

     A problem can arise if you follow alex@bridge-A and another person on your server follows alex@bridge-B, and then I mention you. Both bridges will send you a separate notification. So on the AP side you want your server only interacting with one bridge.
