     @adachi @azure funny thing is most basketball shoes get torn up on asphalt. I've looked at nice basketball shoes but I can't justify more than clearance prices for outdoor hooping. They're consumables.

     To be fair, many people buy for an aesthetic. Think pick-up trucks, people buy them for a certain 'feeling' (rugged, workman, practical). Same with basketball shoes, most are buying them for the aesthetic of being athletic/streetwear.
