     @prettygood i remember in 2022 i isntalled freebsd on this laptop and everythign wroked perfectly but now i go to install drm-kmod and enable it and whenever i boot into the systgem i get a blank screen im gonna beg for help on irc fuck em

     @eemmaa @prettygood i cannot just do mount /dev/ada0p4 /mnt that just throws an error message saying it can't open ada0p4, maybe I'm mounting the wrong partition or something idk but it says it exists on disk when I do ls

     @nyanide @prettygood you want to mount the /dev/ada0p4.geli if you are using disk encryption, if its an external zpool you have to import it: zpool import -fR /mnt yourpoolname
     then you go about using mount
     mount -t zfs poolname/slice

     @nyanide @prettygood thats odd normally intel integrated works pretty good, idk. What I'm posting from is a chinkpad with intel integrated and stuff, running freebsd on it, if you are updating base from source, you are gonna have to build your kernel module again - unlikely this is your issue, but just incase, you can put a hook in your make to do it every time you make installkernel

     I mean at least it's known and there's a workaround...

     @nyanide @prettygood this guy is having the issue i suggested though, if you used a stable snapshot stable != release in bsd land, its basically beta, and if you run stable you gotta have a build farm or use source locally
