   @zenith sent a screenshot in the fantasy architecture discord server of a reddit post asking for an 'arm64 iso' of windows xp to run on m1 and we all had a good laugh and then like two hours later i realized. well. it runs on ia64 doesnt it

     @mothcompute @zenith absolutely insane idea, but i wonder how much would it take to port the leaked server 2k3 userspace to some modern arm64 NT kernel. Userspace is written in C after all.

     @gorplop @zenith honestly my mental image was to just kind of slog through the leaked xp source tree and port the kernel and userspace together to a raspberry pi or something but this is way smarter probably

     @mothcompute @zenith that was my first thought too but the idea of writing ARM core drivers for XP is impossible to imagine for me
