@itsfoss So far so good. One 2K monitor and one 4K monitor. No complaints.

@itsfoss It works fine for me on a single monitor setup. Moving windows from one e.g. a 4k monitor to a 2k monitor doesn't work well for me (KDE + Wayland) - especially for non KDE applications.

@itsfoss perfectly of course. I like spending my nights and weekends configuring drivers

@itsfoss grub text including luks prompt is tiny, some games don't show 1920*1080 options and I wind up with tiny UI elements or tiny text or poor performance (it's not grunty enough for 4k rendering).
Basically fine otherwise.

@itsfoss Both 32" 4K screens are working flawlessly on Debian Trixie (with default Gnome+Wayland+fractal scaling)

I have Debian with gnome as a desktop.
The scaling is set to 100% and I set a scaling in the ide or zoom in in firefox, if I need bigger text.
Sadly there is no 125% or 150% setting in gnome in the shipped version that doesn't screw text and icons. -

@seism0saurus Hmm, interesting. You could notify GNOME about this issue.

@itsfoss@mastodon.social Our gaming system is hooked up to a 4k TV and it runs fine. There are some issues with default sizes/UI scales, but that's pretty normal for having larger displays, and fixable in the game itself usually.
Besides that my room mate has a 4k monitor with his setup, and I haven't heard of any issues with that beyond the initial "How do I scale the desktop so I can see it?"
Both cases running wayland with nvidia graphics
