     Tomato sauce that is actually cooked with care with and some chicken with some herbs such as basil or oregano and then fried topped with parmesian makes american chicken parmesian thats pleasant to eat and enjoyable (the cheese is fucking great)
     This indian shit just has 5 billion gallons of water, 5 billion gallons of stock, 5 billion pounds of rice, 5 billion pounds of spice, 5 billion pounds of whatever curry shit they use makes the buckets you see in the video, it tastes good solely from the spices used and not from the other ingredients complenmenting the taste, texture, and other savory elements. Remove them, you get the same dirty disgusting shit you see in indian street food videos

So no, it's not a "technically speaking" situation, he's saying that you could get an e.g. generic baton of salami from the store and enjoy it, but we should push and prefer artisanal (and proper) made salami instead.
     
     He also calls out the Indian garbage for what it is, only giving an inch himself to a church making hundreds of kilograms of food at a time for a congregation without doing anything too egregious, so you're exaggerating.
     
     The video is garbage for other reasons, like not getting to the point faster and trying to sound as pretentious as possible, when realy nobody wants to engage his "metaphysical view on slop" or whatever the hell he's smoking over there.
