     While that's true (I've never had a Tiktok account and never felt the lack), it sets a disturbing precedent. I stand with the ACLU on this.

     @nixCraft although I agree, they're banning it for other reasons that can be a precedent to future bans on other foreign services.

     @nixCraft the united states is banning tik tok because they know that china could use the app for the same purposes that the us uses facebook, gmail, instagram, x etc...

     They are banning Tik Tok because underneath it all they are selling our data and they are reporting back to the CCP. Trump filled a stay in court, Let’s see if it holds up
