Jammed solid now ... okay, problem for future me. It clearly needs to be de-racked, dismantled and properly cleaned.
Yeah. The autoloader robot has tried to "recover" by trying to load the tape into the drive. The problem here is the drive already had a tape in it...
.... what the fuck?!
Here's what's happened:
1) I took out the cleaning tape because I wanted to know how many cleaning cycles it had run. (easy to do with an NFC reader).
2) The Golfball Dustbunny was hiding behind the door, dragged there by the tape (I hadn't noticed)
3) When I put the tape back in, the Dustbunny got shoved into the tape picker.
4) In the morning I'm probably going to have to strip down the autoloader, remove the jammed tape, and clear out all the dust.
5) That's a problem for future me.
It gets better. It can't see the jammed tape on any of the sensors. That explains why the turntable isn't resetting.
It also can't do a Tape Inventory, it knows there are tapes in the mags but can't read their barcodes.
I'm going to cry if there's another dustbunny inside the barcode reader assembly.
"Status: Ready. 2 Mags 9 Tapes (1 In Drive)"
Winner.
And it even read the barcodes.
Sorted
