     The vast majority of moral crusades and social causes exist for the sole purpose of making upper middle class yuppies feel good about themselves, make them feel like they're doing something good for the world, no matter how many people actually suffer for it, no matter how little good it actually does. They want to FEEL like they're doing good, they don't actually want to DO good, and even if they're doing evil, as long as it feels like good, that's all that matters.
