     @MachinicWreck I will have to see some potential first for people here to get their shit together, but I don't know how seriously I can take any Cascadian separatist movements without a cohesive group of marginalized people with some ties to the region being able to create a critical mass of independence sentiment. and unfortunately the US has done a pretty thorough job of mostly wiping out its indigenous populations and leaving the rest in an atomized destitute situation

     @am @MachinicWreck I don't know enough about separatist politics in Quebec beyond what I've heard secondhand via lilli to comment seriously on it very much, it just seems like the only north american separatist movement that approaches being serious and not some dumb right-wing larp bullshit
