Incubator fodder tally.
I **think** we now have 8 goose and 9 or 11 turkey. Not sure they will all fit. We're going to prioritize the geese. I could probably sell extra turkey eggs, and if not they are of course incredible edible eggs

@NailBomb Yeah my turkey only lays for about a month in the spring and again sometimes for a month in the fall (hit or miss). Their eggs taste just like chicken eggs, but they are probably 2-4x the size. Larger than a duck egg, but smaller than goose. We just got our geese last year, this will be the first time we've bred them.
I have 3 male ducks that will be headed to freezer camp this weekend. They have been too aggressive with the ladies, and we have a Pekin who they seem to prefer to hang around anyway.

Amazing! 😮 I never even once thought of turkey eggs until your post. Too bad turkeys lay less frequently than chickens.
I'm getting myself prepared for ducks next spring - more personality than chickens and turkeys while less ornarary than geese.
Looking forward to more bird posts 🐔
