     "enjoy staying poor" is a meme among crypto bros. You shouldn't take it personally.

     But again, I think it's not a matter of perception, the technology has value in and of itself.
     Like yes, you own just a number. But that number is truly yours and you can securely transfer it. And that has intrinsic value.
