     Quite funny, as many people are no doubt aiming for 8K (I even read about '10K') I'm with 'same as last year, 4K'.

     At least they use their hardware to the bitter end. I think panels with that resolution were available for like half-a-year around 2008 before economies of scale led to fullHD-screens getting considerably cheaper.
