   It's very likely that debris from outside got inside my case and shorted out something.

   I have had my window open for the past two months, I basically live outside.

     In :florida: the minimum required vision is 20/70 (6/21) in both eyes but if you are blind in one eye the requirement is 20/40 (6/12) in the dominant eye. There are potential ways I could get around this, but I'm not banking on them.

     So maybe I'll move to Japan, or lease a FANCY GERMAN CAR for 2 years and then move to Japan. :cirno_shrug:

     @benis_redux Multiple factors prevent me from doing that the main one being repairs are cheaper than a car payment (fuck a car payment), also I don't know if I'm going to be allowed to renew my license in two years.

     In January I'm going to attempt a vision test and if I can pass I'll renew it which will be good for 10 years, and I'll consider buying a new car.

     @splitshockvirus here you can drive a car even if you're totally blind in one eye, but you have to pass an exam by the local medical commission

     @benis_redux Thanks for reminding me to dump and backup my database I was too busy looking at new cars I want to buy but won't because cars are a bad investment (just like buying anything computer related).

     It sits on a raised desk, but is right next to a window and is mostly idle at 100w. Maybe a 🇹🇷 crawled into the PSU and shorted out idk.

     It's running fine now.

     @splitshockvirus assuming your PC is on the floor and that you mounted your PSU fan-down, it's going to be your power supply. You can blow it out with compressed air, but the loud pop is concerning.
