fashion seems like a nerd hostile environment but it doesn't have to be one. we mainly lack the infrastructure.
we need shit like KICKSDB and it's a database of shoes categorized by welting and colors. timeless resources.
a bunch of fashion downstreams from celebrities, independent and corporate blogs, shots from news, cursed corporate social media. even if you're not straight up hypebeasting it's useful to look at it but it's dreadful to follow all that slop - aggregate it. fashionnews. fag reddit.
even if you follow all that shit and manage to find some resources their approach is all wrong. it's like they're trying to dress you up like you're their toddler. how you dress up is really a simple computation:
style(CRAP + body) = outfit
where `CRAP` is derived from the trends, budget, what's already in the wardrobe etc. maybe stuff like proven combinations too. so *that* is all the resources should be. there's enough on how to work your body already, and style is a skill you hone every day on your own.
we need to get it to the point where on any given day you can figure out your CRAP in like 40 minutes. then nerds can do fashion.
(by nerds I mean me. I need that stuff to dress up. PLEASE.)

@menherahair seems fair they are the ones that use the most filtered biased and propaganda media available. They also only go outside with friends to smoke or do drugs or some shit
-
@Yoruka I don't think it's even all that, but most people probably don't leave their house for their entertainment so it's all jewish news netflix spotify anglosphere social media nigger central shaping cultural identities
-
@menherahair brainwashed blackpilled white selfhaters (because they are white)
-
@Yoruka niggerly behavior transcends race + zoomer culture is just acting like niggers
-
@menherahair I think I I've seen mostly wiggers with that particularly for some reason
-
@Yoruka niggers......................

@menherahair I mean the rediculous shit where people pay over 1000 bucks for a chink thing just to brag about the brand they wear, and then it usually also looks insanely ugly.

@Yoruka fashion is just when you dress up to look good. This involves shit like matching shoes with belts so many people won't be able to do it if they don't care. Plain, clean outfit with $200 sneakers or good leather just happens to be the easier way to achieve this but it doesn't have to be expensive.
Way bigger issue is the longevity. $30 brand black long sleeve tee isn't expensive if it stays good looking for years but it just won't. The black washes out, sleeves stretch out, collar gets loose, print comes off. They're already using chink slave labor to make these so they aren't getting cheaper. You mostly deal with this by rotating clothes but man how much do you have to spend to maintain one look for a year? For tees you can actually just get nice cheap brand ones but this isn't an option for sweatshirts, sneakers, or menswear or you *will* look like broke bitch. This really makes things harder (at the very least more involving as you learn about maintenance), limits people and generally takes the joy out of it.
I used to just have like 2 looks I'd do since high school but they started to fall off in college and I'm definitely too old for oversized hoodies now. Gyaru manga has unironically radicalized me into doing something about it and half the (very modest) wardrobe has to go so now I'll be thrifting and tailoring for fucking months

@menherahair I am honestly just not interested in fashion to begin with. I just take what fits. Expensive clothes my ass
