   Even if you wanted to get back to old fashioned morality... there is no model. The value system of the far right is set by totally depraved cultures where lying, cheating, stalking and total malice are a way of life.
   
   Then everyone wonders why one organization after another self destructs as its members rip each other apart.

     @Sulla_Felix One factor in the jew takeover of media was their natural advantage in a market-based entertainment industry. Before they gained oligopolistic power they were still able to compete with old stock Americans because jews are perfectly willing to go as low as it takes to win. Pre-code films were notoriously sleazy, and the public ate them up.

     @judgedread You cannot convince right-wing Evangelicals that rootless, exploitative capitalism is anything other than God's Own political system. It's what 500 years of relentless propaganda can accomplish and it means that there is no moral core to build on from the conservative side.
     
     Certain radical Catholics will say something like, "Usury is wrong, for certain values of the term, 'usury.'" But if they hear it, the Evangelicals will start talking about how Edmund Campion got off easy.
