     @nepfag @poopernova He just gave the blessing for a company to make a proper gacha. The funniest thing to come of it is ZUN being forcibly reminded of PC98 characters when they dragged him onto a stream when the game released a couple characters from the era.

     @nepfag @poopernova Funny thing is, ZUN kinda dislikes the gacha. A few times in interviews and some regular broadcasts he'll voice some displeasure at it existing, but seems to feel like there's no real good reason to stop them outright. I believe his only real stipulation on making gacha is "you need to explicitly ask for approval first."
     He seems a lot more excited working with the Danmaku Kagura team seeing as he even gave them the blessing to use his official music in game. Even when it was a gacha, the main rhythm gameplay was completely free really and so you could just enjoy the game as is.
