     Platinum, like everyone else on here, was and likely still is, an extremely flawed individual. His biggest issue was picking the exact set of things to take a stand on that would get him the largest number of least tolerable enemies on fediverse, which lead to him making ill advised posts and then logging off.
     
     I'd end up just like him if I entertained every rando who wants to start a fight with me on here, so perhaps I'm empathetic moreso than the average person.
     
     Its a moot point, platinum, like frosche, turbonormie, and many others is gone.
