     @flexghost Every new piece of news I see about the GOP makes me wish they would just cease to exist.

     I really no longer care about the lopsided balance of power it would cause.

     This is one rare case of take care of the problem first, deal with the consequences later.

     Florida Republicans are about to strip the few remaining rights from trans citizens

     HB 1421
     • allows children to be kidnapped by the state
     • suspends medical licenses and allows the arrest of medical professionals if they provide gender affirming care
     • prevents insurance providers from covering gender clinical intervention
     • passes liabilities to any physician helping minors or adults get care

     The GOP stands for nothing but cruelty
