overheard a discussion between two nazis.
one of them had tried out Nostr and complained that admins there are as keen on censoring "our type of free speech" as admins on fedi are.
so anyway, that guy said he's back on fedi again. we're more nazi-friendly than Nostr. 💀

@thor but on Nostr, you connect to multiple relays, which means that being kicked out of one or two isn't such a big deal

@Hyolobrika after all, if Nostr had kicked him out less frequently, he would've stayed
so it would seem that he found that, on average, fedi will kick you out less often for being a nazi.
Nostr is a lot like fedi except there are no instances. only relays, and clients talk to them directly. clients are typically connected to about a dozen default relays by default.

@Hyolobrika i'm assuming that this guy i overheard had was averaging together all his experiences with both platforms and was finding that Nostr was either no better, or a bit worse, at kicking him out

@thor Depends on the admin. There's one relay run by a guy from fedi who used to have a Nazi armband in his pfp.

@thor Particularly, I saw a post where he linked this: https://counter-currents.com/2023/03/the-state-of-the-nation-for-white-advocates/ , which complains about civil rights, calling it the root of political correctness and putting it in scare quotes.
