     besides the shitposts I can guarantee you'd sell at least a couple hundred of the laptops with built in Greaseweazle and/or DomesdayDuplicator.
     A 2024 laptop that can natively read floppy disks and laserdiscs? Archivists are already looking at their budgets to make sure they can afford one when it comes out

     But the hardware to receive raw RF signals from a laptop could be made portable, and you put THAT in the laptop.

     @SPAM not exactly! my understanding is that to capture VHS with a domesday duplicator, you'd need either different hardware or 2/3 of them. VHS has multiple separate RF tracks, whereas laserdisc has one, so you need more capture devices to get all the VHS ones
