   This weekend I:

   - Installed bistro string lights on the back patio
   - Fixed the lawn mower
   - Mowed a year's worth of grassland in what used to be bare desert in the backyard
   - Edged about a mile worth of edges with an edger
   - Cut 40 pounds of rosemary from an overgrown bush (worth $2,278.40 by supermarket prices)
   - Fixed a privacy fence
   - Cleaned the pool's filter
   - Took old paint to the HHW dropoff
   - SO. MUCH. GENERAL. CLEANUP.
   - Managed to get every muscle in my body aching at the same time

     When I said I fixed the lawn mower, part of it was getting it running again, but also this. The front height adjustment would no longer hold, because that thin strip of metal had a thin bump which was load bearing. I grounded it off and replaced it with an adjustable bolt and nut set.

     Apropos of nothing, like a lot of my stuff, this mower just hit 10 years old, since I bought my first house just over 10 years ago.

     I almost got rid of the mower when I moved into my current house which has a gravel front yard and had a bare desert back yard. I'm glad I didn't, as 2 years of unprecedented rain turned the back yard into brushland.

     @foo nice fix! I haven't had that particular fail but that's a quick easy solution if I ever do.
