   @Wilhelm_Apologist The problem with this assessment is the intangible impacts of what would happen IF Alberta does gain full sovereignty away from Ottawa. The amount of demoralization that would result from Alberta leaving could damage the entirety of the Canadian Neoliberal order whether it be the conservatives, NDP or Liberals they would all be demoralized. However what such demoralization would bring I cannot say.

     Albertan "independence" will be subverted just like brexit was in the UK! America is the new Soviet Union presiding over the western iron curtain. Any western country that revolts will be met with American armies and harsh occupation.
     
     And what if Alberta does separate? Then Alberta's ruling class will be composed of the same lying, cheating, gangster conservative politicians that have sold out our country in the first place. In short, independence accomplishes nothing.
