     @ArdainianRight @YeetLibs They just want to grill and play videogames, and pretend they're living in the end of history and that the struggle for existence has forgotten about them and that OF COURSE our rulers are as mild and quiescent as themselves.
     
     Because if these suppositions *weren't* true, that would mean we're in some pretty deep shit and the only way out would be for the gelatinatized remnants of "legacy america" to try to reform itself into having backbones, which at this point is the same as asking a cripple to stand up and run a marathon.
     
     In their minds, the impossibility of the solution to the problem which faces society necessitates dishonest re-framings of the problem, so they'll do what they can to ignore reality.
