   As per usual the people I help in their time of need are never able to return a favor when I need help the most.

   There's a reason the world is commercialized, a reason why communism can never work. If my own family can't assist me in a matter that is in their ability, why should I ever expect the same from a stranger, multiple strangers or people I hate?

   Hold a carrot in front of someone and they will walk forward because it's their job. Ask some to walk forward and they will think you are bossing them around or trying to harm them.

   This hasn't really changed me in terms of how I will treat people but I think I understand bitter people and those who never help anyone but themselves. Assisting others is literally a selfless act and likely one that will not net you anything, in most cases it has never netted me anything.

     @benis_redux It's kind of an unspoken rule with employment. Some of the people in my life don't have those ethics and it's beginning to make me believe their misfortune is God acting against them.

     @splitshockvirus helping others at work and generally being pleasant has always allowed me to fuck up with less consequences than a harder man than me would have received
