     @WashedOutGundamPilot Can’t tell you how many times I’ve argued with range boomers that no, if we get ‘SHTF’ or ‘Civil War 2’, they will not be super high speed operators just because they were in the army reserve back in ‘83. Legions of q-type boomer people sincerely believe that scores of 50-70 year old guys will singlehandedly fight off the military and ‘evil leftists’ without a sweat, should it ever come to it. Nevermind the fact technologies available to a single soldier have changed drastically within the past 30 years (thermals/NVGs), drones and precision guided artillery means indirect fire is basically king- Ukraine is showing this on both sides. An overweight 62 year old with a bubba’d AR isn’t going to accomplish anything but getting himself killed if he thinks he and his buddies are just going to pull up to the ‘bad guys’ in their trucks and be back home for the niggerball game.
