1. A time-lapse video from space shows the nightside of Earth, with cloud cover and city lights rapidly panning by. A small, peach-colored flash of light emerges, rising from the Earth's surface and dimming as it ascends into space. It passes beyond Earth's limb and the orange airglow of the atmosphere into the star-filled void, blossoming into four smoky petals before a glowing streak descends back to Earth.

  @wonderofscience I don't think I'm the only one who would like very much to know how many true seconds is a second of the video (i.e., the acceleration factor of the video).
