     Dragon Ball Z didn't even air in America until Toonami 98 on Cartoon Network. Aeon Flux was around way before that I would say 1993/94 if my memory serves me right.

     I never even heard of aeon flux as a kid. I was too busy playing DOS games back then.

     Didn't know that! tbh I thought that jap cartoon sheeit was a waste of time for so long. Only discovered it in the 2000s

     Yeah the anime scene became mainstream around that time but it was limited to Hollywood Video rentals and Toonami on cartoon network. An honorable mention was Saturday Night Anime on the Scifi Channel this was 92-93 era.
