Which is better. The 5k 75Hz 40inch ultra wide. Or the 2k 144Hz 38inch? They're both the same price btw. -

@BallsackGyroper1488 Higher resolution crap is harder to process for diminishing returns, while higher refresh rates have a noticable difference. Go for the second one. -

@poopernova I already got 2 4k 27inch monitors, they're fantastic btw. Actually seeing 4k+ images that aren't compressed to shit on it looks amazing. I have little experience in high refresh rate though so I cannot comment.
I did get a new GPU, so I would probably be able to run most games at high refresh rate. But i wonder if the 2k 144 resolution will work well with my existing 4k 60 monitors?:awoo_tired: shotgun snuggler :clownpiece_smug: likes this. -

@BallsackGyroper1488 I personally value more fps than resolution, but if you already have a couple of 60hz monitors then the 144hz will look a lot different due to the higher refresh rate -

@BallsackGyroper1488 @poopernova doesn't this purely depend on if you're gaming or if you plan on using the monitor for productivity work. It's really on what you plan on using it for. :awoo_tired: shotgun snuggler :clownpiece_smug: likes this.
