     @Kyonko802 based.....but was it ever really mentioned in HL1 how old he was? the only mention i can think of is in HL2 with "graduate from MIT" which from my napkin math means he is at least 20. it would also would make sense he was the youngest with how people acted towards him in black mesa and that he was the one doing the experiment

     The script is very much the epitome of cutting the fat and only giving you what matters, and not interrupting the gameplay for no reason

     @rainignterror1080p @DarkMahesvara @M_39 black mesa is half life 1 but with several improvements, it's in the same engine as half life 2 and also expands the last levels of the first game because they were lacking. It wasn't made by valve but it's officially endorsed by them.

     @rainignterror1080p @DarkMahesvara @M_39 it also retroactively names several characters like Eli here. He was nameless in half life 1 og but in black mesa it's clearly him. It makes the overall canon flow better imo
