     why not roleplay with a chatbot?

     dude, I can roleplay with actual people if I want to, I don't need robots. Admittedly some of those people ARE robots, but they're more robots in the sense of "therians" and less "chat-gpt"

     also google is kinda useless. it didn't tell me that skins.minecraft.net has been deprecated for like 6 years, but the host was up, and now that the host is down it's broken some old modpacks that had a fallback that still expects skins.minecraft.net to resolve, even if it doesn't work

     @foone@digipres.club not sure if that's an acceptable solution, but iirc prism laumcher has an option for fixing skins on old versions (create instance → edit instance → misc → under one of the tabs)

     I got it working. I think it was a glitch in my launcher that's resolved itself

     @foone You do have me thinking about how possible it would be to create a website that just proxies these, but that's a project I shouldn't do considering everything else I have cooking.
