@DrRyanSkelton Honestly even if you ignore going to the extreme to say "I want my politics," the anon has it right. He's not a mitwit, he's voicing an opinion that seems too complex for some to grasp, in that politics (general) and politics (contemporary, usually about the USA) are wildly different things. A story about revolution over a corrupt emperor who mistreats the populous is insanely different from a story about a homosexual finding his place in a sub-urban area.
Yet for the straw man to work, they must have the same level of existence and writing in the argument. Defeating an evil businessman who engaged in crimes beyond comprehension that killed many innocent is clearly on the same level of the vapid, hardly thought out "communism good" fantasy. Now this argument works perfectly! :flan_tired: Hate it.

@Iffine @DrRyanSkelton "I hate poltiics in gaming" is basically "this is bad writing", and can be true together with "I don't like you, your shitty politics and you wasting my oxygen."
Like take Dragon Age Veilguard for example, anyone can notice that every bit of group dialogue sounds like group therapy, or it's an exact scene from Guardians of the Galaxy. In a supposedly serious, dark fantasy.
